9th ANNUAL TRICK or TREAT
The 9th Annual Trick or Treat event was a huge success. It takes a village to put on an event like this and the village came out - over 16 Elk Members and 18 Emblem Members helped to create a fun and safe trick or treat event for over 500 Shasta county parents and their children. The Redding Elks Lodge opened their doors to the public for two hours as the public was treated to trick or treats from twenty three tables decorated and hosted by the Redding Elks Lodge and Emblem Club, members handing out candy and drug awareness related items plus cotton candy, lemonade, cookies and a run at the obstacle course outside. This event is free to the public and supported by the lodge and a Shasta county grant. Thank you Kelly Snowden for being Elroy the Elk for this Trick or Treat Drug Awareness Event.
Dawn,
Thank you!
This is a huge event and takes an enormous amount of time and energy to put it together. It was a pleasure to walk through the event and see all the smiling faces of both the little ones and not so little enjoying themselves in a very safe environment.
Kudos to you and your team.
Sue
